Mary voted because, “civic engagement is one way to put my faith in action, and it is not enough to talk about the issues that are important to me. I have to advocate for them through voting. Our country is in need of a renewed sense of hope and love, and that can come from electing officials who seek unity, justice, equity, and representation."
