In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, CRI's work continues among the poorest and most difficult areas of our world today. There has been no slow down in the kind or amount of aid we provide.⁠ ⁠ Our best guess is that most countries in which we work are about 6-8 weeks behind the U.S. in the spread of the virus. When it begins to rise in these communities, the effects could be far worse than here. We have begun by sending funds from our reserves to our international partners to buy soap, food, and other essentials.
