For this Field Notes Friday, team member Steve Ackley reflects on his time at our Vida Victoriosa Project in Mexico.⠀ ⠀ “I was impacted by two things on our trip. One was the joy of the kids and families we met. Their conditions were extreme: no paved roads, running water, electricity, heat, or shelter—but their joy was undeniable. The second was our host, and CRI’s international partner, Jessica. She had moved back to the area just months before, but she was at home, engaged, and determined to make a difference. CRI’s connection to that community is strong, and I was blessed and encouraged to be a part of it.” #fieldnotesfriday
