🚨Mastodon Spotlight🚨Transition- 40 Andy Boyd - “Captain America” as the team jokes with him, is a St. Louis native where he attended and played lacrosse for Parkway West High School. At Parkway West, Boyd earned two All-American honors. He joins the Mastodons with over 18 years of playing experience. After high school, Boyd attended the prestigious Army West Point Military Academy in West Point, NY. At Army, Boyd played Midfield and Attack. He was named to the Patriot League All-Academic Team multiple years and served as a tri-captain of the team his senior year (2013). This will be Boyd’s rookie season in the box as he brings his high lacrosse IQ to the Dons. As a Coach, Boyd enjoyed helping out Harlem Lacrosse while living in New York. Boyd also spent time in Kansas and Oklahoma helping the Kansas State University Men’s Team and the OKC Black Knights (Mastodon Forward Sam Heaton was a member of the team).
