The Carroll Merchants Baseball Club is excited to announce the hiring of Head Coach Ben Berg and Assistant Coach Ryan Picard to lead the Carroll Merchants in the 2023 MINK Baseball League League season. After a successful inaugural season in the MINK League in 2022, the Merchants are looking to build upon that success both on the field at historic Merchants Park and in the Carroll community. “Both Berg and Picard are ready to start filling the roster for 2023 with high quality players from across the country” stated Chris Whitaker, Carroll Merchants General Manager. About Coach Berg: As a catcher, Berg will play his senior baseball season for Concordia University Bulldogs in Seward, Nebraska this upcoming spring.
