Our 5th graders had such an amazing time on our double overnight class trip in Estes Park! 5th grade teacher Mrs. Sheinbaum wanted to share this message:
"Our time there was packed with fun things, and we’re excited to share a few highlights. The fifth graders were incredibly helpful loading and unloading the bus, and did a nice job participating in all of our activities and staying mindful of our Divrei Chaim.
During our days in the mountains, we hiked through the vast YMCA of the Rockies campus and participated in a number of outdoor education classes. In Low Ropes Course initiatives, students mastered group problem-solving tasks involving various forms of verbal and non-verbal communication while balancing on logs, boards, wires, and a giant seesaw. The Elk Ecology class included in-depth learning about one of the most popular Rocky Mountain species through examining different elements of elk anatomy.
