Next up is Cole Sillinger, a forward from Regina. In 2019-20, Sillinger was a rookie for the WHL’s Medicine Hat Tigers, and scored 22 goals and added 31 assists for 53 points in 48 games. This season, he went to the USHL for the Sioux Falls Stampede, and scored 24 goals in 31 games. His father, Mike, played in 1049 NHL games, over two decades, including 13 with Ottawa in 2000-01. Similar to McTavish, Sillinger is a goal scorer who posses a heavy hot, and will be one of the best shooters in this draft class, maybe even the best. Sillinger can also handle the puck well. His skating and defensive play are both described as a work in progress. Sillinger appears to be a boom or bust type of player, which may not bother the Sens given their already deep pool of prospects. - - - - #ottawa #senators #sens #ottawasenators #gosensgo #hockey #nhldraft #2021draft #prospects #topten #future #medicinehat #tigers #siouxfalls #stampede #ushl
