Despite struggling with injuries the past two season, Tarasenko still has the reputation of a very good player when healthy and has a Stanley Cup. Being injured and having an uncertain future definitely makes his trade value take a hit, so a team trading for him wouldn’t have to give up too much. Should the Sens take a look at Tarasenko, someone who was a consistent 65-75 point scorer before getting injured? He has a $7.5 million AAV for the next two seasons. Last year’s signing of Dadonov likely means that the Sens aren’t looking for another scoring winger, but if healthy Tarasenko would be a great addition to any team.
