In 1923, the Sens went for their third Stanley Cup in four years, solidifying them as the NHL’s first true dynasty. The series was shortened to a best-of-three, and the Senators faced off against the Edmonton Eskimos of the WCHL. This was a neutral site series, yet again played in Vancouver. King Clancy played all six positions including goalie when he subbed in for Clint Benedict who had to serve his own penalty!
