The Sens have traded Cody Ceci, Ben Harpur, Aaron Luchuk and Columbus’ 2020 3rd round pick to Toronto for Nikita Zaitsev, Connor Brown, and Michael Carcone. This looks like a really good trade. Ottawa gets rid of two highly-criticized defencemen and received Zaitsev, who isn’t the best player but is probably an upgrade on Ceci, Brown, who looks like a solid bottom-six 30 point scorer, and Carcone, who has looked good in the AHL. This trade looks like a big win for Ottawa.
