#tbt to the first Great Lesson last fall- the coming of the universe. Montessori has five Great Lessons that are part of Cultural Studies. They're meant to spark a child's sense of wonder and curiosity and to act as a jumping off point for deeper learning. The first Great Lesson and all of its experiments definitely do that.
