Some of you may have noticed I haven't posted in several days. I suffer from chronic migraines, and just got over a 3 day one. Before 2017 I had only experienced one migraine. Unfortunately that December I was rear-ended. Since then I can't tell you how many migraines I've experienced. It's debilitating: nausea, vomiting, light sensitivity, stabbing pains. You name the migraine symptom, I've experienced it. I have been to the emergecy room and even hospitalized to control them. Typically when I get them they last three days. Until summer 2020 they ran unchecked. The neurologist tried to help me but was unsuccessful. Then he referred me to a headache specialist here in town. She's amazing and people fly from all over the country to see her. She has been a lifesaver. Most migraines have an unknown origin, mine however are of known origins. It has to do with cranial nerves and inflammation. Since starting to see this doctor, I have begun an injection regimen that has changed my life. The ...
