We want to highlight a special alumna who has been recognized multiple times for her hard work and dedication to the nursing field. Candie Cruz Daniels '97 currently works at Medstar Georgetown Hospital as a Neuroscience/ICE Clinical Nurse Educator. Her recent awards from Medstar Georgetown Hospital are the 2020 Nurse of the Year for Neuroscience/ICU AND the 2021 Nurse of the Year for Nursing Education. Candie is also a 2021 Star Nurse Finalist by the Washington Post partnered with the American Nurses Association.
