Many families at O'Connell know Mrs. Cathy Carroll, who has served in the academics office for 28 years, and who has lovingly transported hundreds of children over those years. Only some of the O'Connell families also know her as the mother of five daughter, four of them Bishop O'Connell alumni. These five sisters with strong connections to O’Connell have recently come to national attention for their dedicated service to nursing, and have been awarded this years Knights Service Award! All five of the Carroll daughters are registered nurses. Together they have given 67 years to this profession.
