Another shot of the Bull Moose I photographed back in August. This was the toughest photo that I've ever tried to get. I originally saw this Moose along the road in RMNP where it seemed like hundreds of tourists, most from the Midwest, were lined up trying to capture this moment like they're about to see some famous Hollywood actor. He retreated back into the treeline afraid of all the pupils being directed on him. Everyone gets back into their cars & leaves, but I decided to not give up on the shot so I drove farther down the road to a small fishing river. I parked & began to follow the fishing trail to where I believed he was going to be. Surely enough I was right, I found him in a meadow along the fishing trail feeding on the Willow bushes. When encountering magnificent beasts like this it's always a great idea to keep a solid amount of distance away from the animal for your own safety and theirs too.
