In order to fully experience the celestial magic of next month’s solar eclipse, you have to place yourself on the so-called path of totality—which probably explains the surge in demand for Airbnb homes in places like Austin, Cleveland, and Buffalo.
These cities sit right on the coveted path, where the sun will be completely covered by the moon on the big day. To help meet the surge in bookings, Airbnb says that more than 1,000 new hosts are welcoming eclipse travelers into their homes to get a once-in-a-lifetime view on April 8th.
