It was a year ago today you left us for the graces of heaven. You helped and showed me how about life, work and how to be a better man and individual. It was the beginning of the toughest stretch of my life and the time I wanted and needed you the most. Not a day goes by I don't think about you or the things I would talk to you about. I'll miss all the times we'd mess around and didn't know how much I could mean to somebody until I look back And think about the smile I'd put on your face when I'd come home from school or visit you in the hospital. I'll definitely never forget you getting a police escort home and cracking up when you were getting out of the cruiser. There's just a giant hole in my life that I thankfully have been able to fill with your great grandson who you haven't been able to see grow up and bring the cheer into our life. May you rest in peace #Dede and continue to look of us all. Save a place in heaven till the next time we meet forever.
