How I set up my work calendar with built-in breaks 📆
I made it a point to build in breaks in my calendar so my colleagues know when I am away from my laptop, but sometimes there are mini-breaks like drinking water or literally looking away from your screen that are just as important.
To set these up, follow these steps:
1. Download cuelyapp (if you don’t use Slack, there’s a browser version too!)
2. Connect your calendar
3. Set up your reminders - I have a morning check-in, eye break, water break before meetings, lunch, and an afternoon walk.
I also track my energy levels and saw in the recent weeks my energy has been low overall (hi retrograde & the seasons changing!), so I also make sure to do things like have a good exercise session or go to bed earlier to recharge.
