Late night IG scrolling comes through again! I have a hard time spending money on things I think I can do myself (anyone relate? 🙋🏻‍♀️) so when it came to our engagement photos, I was just going to do my own makeup. But after reading some Reddit threads and talking to other brides I decided last minute to get my makeup professionally done and I’m SO glad I did! We just had our engagement shoot in NYC where is was absolutely POURING rain! The last shot is me after our 3 hour shoot in the rain. It’s all still intact and I feel like it would’ve just slid off if I did it myself (and raccoon eyes is not exactly the look I was going for). After a lifetime of being frugal I’m learning how to balance saving where I can with occasionally splurging on something valuable. Big thanks and shoutout to cheenabobeena for fitting me in last minute and making me feel super glam for the shoot! Highly recommend her if you need a MUA for any occasion.
