Exciting day for Empress Publishing! As a recognized publisher by Library and Archives Canada, EP Canada now has its very own publishing prefix and can generate ISBNs (international standards book number). I can also apply for barcodes to sell products globally across different point of sale systems. The pic shows my first two ISBNs and barcodes - one for each deck. As a Canadian recognized publisher, two copies of each deck will be mailed to Library and Archives Canada in Ottawa for historical record keeping of Canadian content and history. One copy goes in a vault to preserve Canadian history, and another copy stays in an area where it can be displayed to the public.
