COMMENCEMENT UPDATE FOR WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, AND FRIDAY CEREMONIES ONLY: Yesterday, the State of California updated its COVID-19 requirements for indoor ‘mega-events.’ Effective Wednesday, December 15, all graduates and guests over the age of three must show proof of: -being fully vaccinated* OR -provide results of a negative antigen test administered no more than one day prior or a negative PCR test administered no more than two days prior to the event. This is shorter than the current three-day requirement that expires Tuesday, December 14. The antigen test can include a take-home test, sold at Walgreens, CVS and other pharmacies.* *Attendees aged 18 and older must provide identification to confirm they are the person presenting proof of vaccination status or negative test result, and entering the venue.
