In case you missed yesterday, there was a Multicultural Holiday Show on campus featuring Mark Rust!🎄🎶 It was all smiles as the singer/songwriter played some guitar and also whipped out his hammered dulcimer. Apart from this, Rust also knows how to play the banjo, fiddle, piano, and mountain dulcimer. Through his music, he encompasses the beautiful harmonies of nature derived from his upbringing in the Catskill Mountain. His collection of over 200 songs all discuss lasting themes of family, friends, conflict, memories, etc. to which everyone can relate to. Rust’s immense talent has lead him to be mentioned in People Magazine as he sung alongside Peter Seeger and Peter, Paul, and Mary. Throughout his career, he has also worked as a musical director for various musicals around the country.
