Flamingos are known for their oddly satisfying mating rituals 🦩
To start, a male will raise their heads with a very straight neck, then move their heads side to side. The ritual continues with an open-winged salute and marching, as if in a line salute.
Since pair bonds among flamingos last for only a single breeding season, each year brings an opportunity to find a new mate 🦩
