You may have seen a green coating on local lakes, ponds, etc during the summertime? This is a micro look into this algae and I had no idea it looked this cool! It’s bright green pigment from synthesized #chlorophyll carried out by oxygenic #photosynthesis (like specs in slide 2) - produces the most sophisticated multicellular organisms. The way its green hair-like dances through the slow moving stream reminds me of the Grinch or slime!
