Though Indian Peafowls are not native to America, they can be found in the wild. Pictured here are a male Indian Peafowl, famously known as a peacock and a female, known as a peahen. Fun fact: The colors of peafowls are not made from green or blue pigments. The coloring is an effect of the micro-structure of the feathers, resulting in this optical phenomena.
