BREAKING: Our SeattleKraken have signed forward Pierre-Edouard Bellemare to a one-year deal! Bellemare, 38, had 13 points (four goals, nine assists) in 73 regular-season games with the Lightning, his second year with the team. His 166:37 of total shorthanded ice time and his average of 2:17 of shorthanded ice time per game both led all Lightning forwards and ranked fourth on Tampa Bay’s roster. With 6.12 power-play goals against per 60, Bellemare topped all Lightning skaters that played at least 45 minutes on the penalty kill last season. Bellemare also finished the 2022-23 campaign with a 52.3 percent success rate at the faceoff dot, which ranked third among Tampa Bay players to take at least 500 draws and also marked the sixth-consecutive season in which he had a faceoff win percentage of 50 percent or better. The forward added two points (one goal, one assist) in six Stanley Cup Playoff Games with Tampa Bay last season. First photo by SUSA / Icon Sport Second photo by Amy C Irvin ...
