“This photo is from my sharkweek takeover! My relationship with Emma the Tiger shark started nearly 2 decades ago when I first saw her swim into our view at #TigerBeach! For those who don't know her yet, she's HUGE - 15 feet long to be exact! Over the last 20 years, I have been rubbing her head every time she approaches me and have removed 4 hooks from her, simply using affection without taking her out of the water. This lovely lady holds a very special place in my heart! I have seen her through 7 pregnancies, with another one on the way! No matter where I travel near Tiger Beach, I can usually find her hanging out beneath my boat. Despite her impressive and somewhat scary appearance, she is truly a gentle giant that I have been so fortunate to have as my friend all these years.
