OLReign forwards Megan Rapinoe and Veronica Latsko were named to the NWSL Best XI of May! Latsko had a three-goal month for the Reign, beginning her scoring on May 6 in OL Reign’s 2-0 win against the Houston Dash. The tenacious forward scored the opening goal of the match in the 53rd minute, marking her first of the 2023 season. This is Latsko’s first time being named to the NWSL Best XI of the Month. Rapinoe, one of OL Reign’s original players, notched four assists in the month of May. She earned her first assist of the month against the Houston Dash, on Latsko’s game-winning goal. Rapinoe continued to shine in May, earning her first-ever three-assist performance in OL Reign’s 4-1 win over Angel City. With four assists in May, Rapinoe became OL Reign’s all-time assist leader with 25. This is her eighth time being named to the NWSL Best XI of the Month.
