The beautiful, but deadly plant secretes a deliciously smelling mucilage, to lure insects. The insects eat the sundew, while—at the very same moment—they are being absorbed by this same plant. So most insects that land on sundew face death. But not this one! This lucky (or clever?) damselfly used a leaf of the sundew as a lifeline. . . By climbing it, she managed to escape and minutes after she made her big mistake, she was flying high again, further and further away from this almost fatal lunch.
