In early 2015, photographer aaronbhall landed in Jakarta, Indonesia on assignment for ironandair. He knew no one, and his only contact, the sole person who he'd traveled to meet, ceased all communication upon his arrival. He was stranded – alone in a strange, new land, with no place to stay, and no way to get there if he had one. He took to social media, blindly reaching out to the only other people he recalled from Indonesia: elderscompany, a band of motorcyclists who would quickly become more like family than friends. . They dropped what they were doing, arranged transportation for Aaron, provided him with food, a place to stay, and a bike to ride for the duration of his trip. Within minutes of meeting the crew, he was off on an eight-hour excursion to the base of Mount Bromo, an active volcano set in the middle of the "Sea of Sand." .
