Photo by jorisvanalphen: "Every spring large numbers of common cuttlefish gather to mate in the shallows of the Eastern Scheldt estuary in the Netherlands. In the past many died in lobster traps, trying to deposit their eggs on the structures of the traps. Now each year volunteer divers place sticks in the water for the cuttlefish to deposit their eggs on, saving many cuttlefish, and keeping fishermen's traps clear for lobsters.
