From davidcmorton: "Shot from hanging along the inside wall of a crevasse, a climber crosses one of the dozens of ladders that span the #crevasses and #serac towers of the #khumbu icefall. The #icefalldoctors affix these ladders to the surrounding ice and snow with ice screws and snow pickets along with thousands of meters of fixed line. The crevasses below the ladders can be a couple of hundred feet deep a move constantly throughout the spring."
