DeanPotter here continuing my #ElevationWeekend takeover on DiscoveryChannel. My heart goes out to the people and all life forms in Nepal, Kathmandu and the Everest base camp during the aftermath of today’s devastating magnitude 7.9 earthquake, centered 50-miles east of the second city, Pokhara. As I sit in my tiny house in Yosemite this morning cozy and warm, I contemplate why I’ve been so lucky and wonder what I can do to help the mountain communities on the other side of the world.
