A week before spring break we had the 17 (YES, 17) Messmer family volunteer at our youth center. To say it was a fun day falls short for the amazing day we shared with the kids and this family. Because Spring break and easter in the DR fall the same week, we had an easter themed class for our 6-12 year olds 🐰 and worked on a ceramic rainbow mural with our 13+ year olds 🌈 supervised by our wonderful volunteer Sherri Sabin, aka the mural boss 😎 (photos of the finished rainbow soon) and then after played outside ✨ Our kids enjoy these wonderful encounters and, to be quite honest, so do we!
