This #SpotlightSaturday we want to feature one of our hosts from the 2020 program, Sydney Rust. Sydney and her group hosted Anurag Garg, a VP Product, Analytics, & IoT at Plex Systems, in the spring. When asked to reflect on her experience with Rising Professionals, she explained that she gained a new perspective and learned to appreciate all aspects about the time she has at Purdue. She also offered advice to students interested in becoming hosts, “Don’t worry about which RP you are a host for. All of the RPs are friendly and excited to get to know you and you will learn so much from them. I was a little nervous going in because my RP had a very different major than my own, but it gave me a different perspective and allowed me to learn a lot of new things during the program” Host callouts will be coming up at the end of this month, be on the lookout for more information about how to apply to be a host for the 2021 program!
