1. Start by laying face down on the mat, bringing the hands on each side of your ribs and legs relaxed hip distance apart.
2. Press your hands down onto the mat and start by lift your arms straight up (keeping the elbows tucked close to you). 3. As you are lifting your arms inhale and bring the chest, belly, torso, and legs off the ground. (only thing on the ground is the palms of your hands and the tops of your feet). 4. Focus on lifting your chest towards the ceiling/sky and bringing your shoulders back away from your ears, gaze up.
5. You can enter the pose by starting from downward facing dog to plank to Chaturanga.
6. When releasing, exhale and bring everything down to the mat or go straight into tucking the feet and moving into downward facing dog.
