How many of you think Chaturanga is one of the hardest yoga poses?
When I first started doing yoga I know I thought it was!
This pose is one where you really want to practice slowly and correctly! ——————————————————————————
When you are doing Chaturanga you want to make sure:
1.Start in high plank-you want your wrists/hands under your shoulders, head, spine, and hips in neutral position, and pull your navel in towards your spine to engage the core
2.Slowly come to half plank- you want your wrists/hands under your shoulders, head, spine, and hips in neutral position, elbows tucked in towards your ribs (90 degree), and pull your navel in towards your spine to engage the core
3.There are a few options after you are in half plank. You can either bring yourself all the way down to the mat, go into cobra or you can go into upward facing dog
