Making our way home after an incredible weekend of advocacy in San Luis Obispo in support of saving #DiabloCanyon nuclear plant. On Friday we handed out over 400 boxes of nerds candy with facts about Diablo Canyon to parade attendees, while our friends and allies projected pro nuclear messages "Carbon free christmas lights, brought to you by Diablo Canyon" etc... onto buildings along with the route. Almost 100% positive conversations about nuclear power and saving the plant. On Saturday we supported the unparalleled isabelleboemeke / i_sodope in her saving clean energy rally, which led the nightly news! We must, and we WILL save this power plant! And on the flight back we see this magnificent aerial view of Palo Verde, the largest nuclear plant in the US, which makes clean power for over 5 million people while treating Phoenix's waste water.
