Y’all figured out all the movie references from Chi Town Christmas, but this the one I didn’t see anyone guess. This is a really powerful monologue from Chicago’s own Bill Murray, at the end of one of my favorite Christmas movies: Scrooged. I always knew I wanted to save the 4th wall break/set reveal to happen at the end of the show but it wasn’t until a couple of days before the shoot that I knew how I wanted it to feel. I love when actors deliver to camera in movies and i feel like this is the scene that cements my movie and his movie in reality, and speaks directly to the audience - what Christmas is all about #chitownchristmas #scrooged
