The “Les Légendes de Bugatti” series is rich with heritage and exclusivity. Named “Black Bess”, the Legends VITESSE was unveiled in 2014 as a tribute to a famous ancestor: the BUGATTI Type 18. Renowned as one of the world’s first street legal supercars ever created, the Type 18 was first owned by French aviation pioneer Roland Garros, who sought a car that was as capable on road as his planes were in the air. The “Black Bess” features a highly customized black carbon body with 24-carat gold elements - reminiscent of the elegance of the Type 18 “Black Bess” from decades previous. The interior of “Black Bess” features truly remarkable craftsmanship. The design sketch in the door panel shows the Type 18 “Black Bess” as well as Roland Garros’ airplane, a Morane Saulnier Type H.
