The Twin Turbo Furious “La Montre Noire” is the latest timepiece from the jacobandco and BUGATTI partnership. This unique piece honors one of the most storied cars ever created by the French hyper sportscar manufacturer: the all-black Type 57 SC Atlantic Coupe, informally known as “La Voiture Noire.” The car was built for Jean Bugatti, a designer and son of Ettore Bugatti, the company's founder. While being brought to Bordeaux by train during the second world war in 1938, it mysteriously vanished and remains missing to this day. It was one of only four Type 57 SC Atlantic Coupes that were built. Reminiscent of the car, the 18k black gold watch is paved with black sapphires, giving it a sleek, mysterious appearance.
