Garage Headquarters is your commercial garage door authority. Recently we had the honor of working with AvalonBay Communities, Inc. to solve a tricky product situation for the parking garage of Avalon at Center Place in Providence, RI.⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ There were a few sticking points that would make this project a challenge for the average team. The tracks were 5" smaller than traditionally used for high-speed doors, and available headroom was only 19” compared to the standard 30” requirement. Not only that, but speed was the top priority, with a goal of 45 inches per second!⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ Challenges like that are where we thrive as problem solvers. Through a site visit, Larry, our VP of Sales, was able to determine that a standard high-speed door would not fit. They needed something truly site-specific.
