Beautiful Hoàn Kiem Lake. • Hoàn Kiem Lake translates to “Lake of the Restored Sword”. • When we first arrived at Hanoi, we couldn’t help but notice how much goes on during the day/night in the city (especially on the weekdays!). But what stood out to me the most is how kids from different schools come around this lake area to learn how to speak English! They learn English by talking to tourist and asking them simple questions like “Where are you from? What is your favorite food?” and so forth.
