Though it’s been a challenging year in many ways outside of our control, we always had choices we COULD make. As a team, Lancer XC focused on choosing these things given what this year has looked like: To be aware of the things we often take for granted - practices, races (good and bad ones), meals together, conversations that matter, opportunities to serve and support others, and the many in-between moments of being together in community. To be hopeful for the things to come - all of the above with fresh resolve, renewed faith, and an abounding Grace that knows no end (1st Timothy 1:12-17) — In our relationships, in pursuing social justice, in public health and how we care for those around us, there is hope that the best is truly yet to come.
