A Mammoth Find - Centennial, Colorado - (Throwback Thursday) Several years ago during the building of yet another home development a museum volunteer helped with the unearthing and plaster of a mammoth tusk found near E-470 and Peoria. With all the constant building along the front range of Denver metro area how many treasures developers are passing up to push ahead the project and out grow our state. Glad they and the chance to take this out before the concrete jungle went in.
