Deicing Disaster - Denver, Colorado - (Throwback Thursday) Continental Airlines 1713 crashed off runway 35L at Stapleton Airport in 1987 killing 28 people. The crash was caused by deicing issues and snow building up on the wings, while taking off in a snowstorm. One of the first airline disasters I covered and will never forget.
