Born in Elche, Spain, Elina Rubio Pentcheva received early instruction on the violin from her violinist mother, Tania Pentcheva Boneva. At a very young age Elina began playing concerts in Spain, Bulgaria and Germany and during her elementary years won many international competitions. Elina has been a featured soloist with many orchestras all over the world and has continued to win many international competitions. Following completion of a Master of Music degree at DePaul University (Chicago), Elina moved to Bloomington (IN), where she completed both an Artist Diploma and a Performance Diploma at Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.
