Introducing this weeks #WomensTennisWednesday: Ally Baker YEAR: Junior HOMETOWN: Rosemount, MN MAJOR: Nursing with Philosophy minor What is your nickname on the team, and how did you get it?: “People call me Bakes because it’s my last name, and there’s another Ally on the team.” Who is your favorite tennis player, and why?: “John McEnroe because of his fire and passion on the court.” What is your favorite tennis team memory?: “My favorite team memory is when we beat Carleton to win the MIAC title last spring. From the outside, nobody expected us to win that match because we had lost to them badly just a few weeks before. But it was our team unity and our desire to play for each other that ultimately got us the win that day. I have never felt so inspired.” #GACTennis #WomensTennisWednesday
