Was working on photos around Sikes Lake the other afternoon and was photographing the geese. When I managed to see this heron about to take off. It seemed some of the geese were frightened by my presence and as they took off, this heron took off as well with its fish. I swung my lens up and took multiple pics and this is one of my favorites.
