This week's #43GreenFriday is a very special St. Patrick's Day edition! 🍀 Take a virtual trip to Ireland with us as we meet Maureen, the Vice President of Marketing & Communications here at Habitat. Maureen's grandparents were born in Ireland, so naturally her favorite color is green (and her Irish accent impression cannot be topped)! While she doesn't know how to swim, Maureen can dance a mean Irish jig. One of 10 children, Maureen and her four sisters took Irish dancing classes when they were younger, and she can still do a modified version of the Hornpipe! Maureen, her husband, and her daughter took a trip to Ireland a few years ago and she absolutely fell in love with the landscape. Even though she's called Chicagoland 'home' for her whole life, she was ready to move to Ireland after that trip.
